College Advising Package
The College Advising Package is an ongoing set of meeting that leads students to learn about the college admissions process and to learn about themselves and their needs. Some students will need more guidance than others. We will meet between eight and twelve times beginning in the summer after the junior year, and ending when the student make their final college choices. The schedule for our meetings and the topics covered are flexible.

- We’ll begin at The Starting Point.
- Based upon information and data provided by the student, Your College Fit will develop a list of colleges.
- The student will research their college list. We will meet to review the student’s research and the colleges on the list.
- We will review plans for their schedule, testing, college visits, summer plans and other issues.
- We’ll meet to work on application essays and refine the college list.
- Senior year meetings will be schedule as needed in the fall and winter to finalize applications and in the spring as the final decisions are made.
- Finally, we’ll celebrate as the student heads off to the next step in their young-adult life.
